Potty Training - How to start and When to start

Here are 3 most frequently asked questions by parents regarding potty training tips

When to start potty training my child?
The best practice is start potty training at an early age. Indian diaper free approach explains that we should take toilet training like any other activities of a child, like bathing, playing. Usually toddlers make sounds or grunt when they want to pass stool. And mother could easily understand this indication and hold the baby in their arms and give verbal cues that prompt the baby to defecate. They may hold the baby over a sink or a bowl. And gradually taking baby over a potty chair becomes easy without any effort.  But if this is not the case, and we want to potty train a child at a little later stage, it becomes little difficult as they grow up. These toddlers learn this process some where between 18 months to 3 years. It is very important to know their readiness to learn potty training. Some parents begin training as soon as their child can sit on their own, but some kids may not be ready until well into the third or forth year.

    Potty Training
How long does it take for a toddler to learn potty training?
We should think of  potty training as a process. The end goal is great but getting there takes time. Like crawling or walking, toddlers learn to use the potty in their own time. Some children get trained within few days but many more take several months.

How to potty train a 3 year old child in 3 days?
    J. Its not a magic. And no strategy can possibly fit all kids. We should remember one thing, to teach this grown up habit is not only hard for parents, but to learn it even harder for our child. If we have a set of ideas to try out, one of them may click our child.

Potty training tips can be found at step by step guide to potty training.

    Baby Bliss

When a Baby is born, it is a mixture of lots and lots of feelings...... happy, excited, thrilled, nervous, frightened, confused and on and on. But ultimately it is a wealth which keeps every one busy and happy in the family.

Baby first time in our hand, babies first feeding, babies first sleep at home, babies first bath, first time when baby looks at you, baby when holding your thumb tight in his/her hands, babies first smile, baby first time rolling over, baby sitting up the first time, baby standing up the first time, babies first step.... the experience is heaven.

    Responsibilities of being a  parent:
    • Feeding the newborn breast milk, and the right time to give right nutritious food for first few months.
    • Building a close bond with the baby.
    • Taking care of Mental and physical well being of the baby.

    Baby Bliss..............
    • Cultivating creativity from toddler hood.
    • Discovering, Preventing, and Treating Food Allergies.
    • Giving right moral values and discipline.
    • Planing a better Future wealth wise and health wise for both.

There is  a saying that God couldn’t be every where so he created mothers. The positive bond between a mother and child cannot be compared with anything in this world and this bond remains till death. When a child grows up into a man he still needs his mothers love and her loving look no matter what age he is in.

Positive Benefits of the Loving Touch of Mother and Baby : Benefits of Oil Massage

The loving touch of mother can create wonders to baby. A close attachment to baby can prevent diseases, boost immunity and enhance IQ in baby. A mothers touch, soothing voice, laughter and smiles are fuel for the baby’s developing brain.
      •  Skin to skin touch of mother and baby at birth reduces crying and crankiness in baby. It helps to keep the baby warmer as baby would be trying to get adjusted to the outside world.
      •  This close contact will stimulate the release of oxytocin, the hormone that makes breast milk flow fluently. That is how makes breastfeeding easier.
      • The skin to skin cuddles have profound effects on attachment, breastfeeding, bonding and especially baby’s development.

      Mother And Baby
      • This loving touch is not limited to those few precious hours after birth. Mother should take a little time each day to introduce baby massage.
      • Skin to skin touch or what we call baby massage has shown lot of positive health benefits for babies. Massage helps to tune mother more to the baby’s body language. Connection through touch is the only way to bond with the newborn.
      • Babies who are gently massaged before bedtime sleep better. They will have lower level of stress hormone and higher level of melatonin which helps baby to sleep.
      • Massaging baby with a small amount of natural vegetable oil(such as olive oil) stimulates all the senses of baby through skin contact, eye contact, hearing mothers voice as well as mothers familiar smell.
      • When a baby cries, it is very important to respond to the baby’s cry. Most of the times just patting on baby’s back puts the baby back to sleep.
In contrast to the  results of trying to instill “independence” through early detached parenting, which creates emotionally insecure adults, securely attached infants become secure adults of high self-esteem  who are strongly independent, but who can also be interdependent in relationships.
